Bloodied: Ritual of the Night is currently available as a free giveaway on the Epic Games Store for a limited time as part of a holiday promotion. Publisher 505 games and developer ArtPlay, Inc. have confirmed that everyone can get this amazing Metroidvania RPG free for 24 hours exclusively on the Epic Store. After the end of the promotion, the price of the game will return to the standard price.
The giveaway begins on December 23 at 16:00 GMT and ends on December 24 at 15:59 GMT. Players only need to claim the title during this period to keep it in their Epic Games library forever.
Created by legendary producer Koji Igarashi, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a classic side-scrolling RPG. Players step into the role of Miriam, an orphan afflicted by a curse that slowly turns her body into crystal. To save herself and prevent the destruction of humanity, she journeys through a vast, demon-infested castle summoned by Gebel, a former friend whose humanity has been overtaken by the same dark force.
The game has been widely praised for its deep customization system, smooth combat, atmospheric environments, and faithful evolution of the genre. Challenging level designs and a wide range of abilities reward careful exploration and experimentation.
Beyond this gift, the Bloodstained franchise continues to expand. The developers also announced a new game called Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement on June 5, 2025, scheduled for release in 2026. The upcoming game will explore earlier events in the series and introduce new elements of strategic combat and crafting.
