Bleach Soul Resonance tier list (Global Launch) – Destructoid

Bleach's Soul Resonance is now available worldwide, and the launch version features some of the iconic names we've witnessed in the anime.

Like many other gachas, you will have to rely on your luck to get the character. However, you will also have to pay attention to the team composition in order to clear the game content without much trouble. Not all characters are built the same, and this guide will help you understand which names are at the top of the meta and which ones aren't good enough.

Full list of Bleach Soul Resonance character levels

Characters in Bleach's Soul Resonance can be divided into two rarities: SSR and SR. In theory, SSR characters may always seem like the best choice, but that's not the case. You will have to pay attention to the composition of the team, which mainly consists of a tank, DPS and support character.

I used four categories to build the multi-level list.

  • S-tier characters are practically the best choice in the current meta. These are the names you should consider when building your team and replays.
  • A-Tier characters are pretty close to S-Tier in terms of playability, but they do have some slight downsides.
  • B-tier characters are ok choices at best.
  • C-tier characters are average characters that should be replaced as quickly as possible.

Here's a quick overview of how I ranked all the characters before going into detail.

Level Names
WITH Ichigo Kurasaki-Bankai, Kaname Tosen, Kisuke Urahara
A Ikkaku Madarame, Byakuya Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, Rukia, Sajin Konamura
B Yachiru Kusajishi, Orihime Inoue, Ichgo Kurosaki-Shikai, Renji Abarai
WITH Yachiru Kusajishi, Orihime Inoue, Ichigo Kurosaki-Shikai, Renji Abarai

S-level

  • Ichigo Kurasaki-Bankai: The first limited character shows his worth at every moment and is definitely worth replaying for. His combos are fast and you can even teleport to different enemies. His base damage is one of the best in the current version, and his ultimate allows Hollowfication mode. Hollowfication mode strengthens his attacks, counterattacks and encourages new skills. Ichigo Kurasaki-Bankai is the best character in Bleach's Soul Resonance at the time of global launch.
  • Kaname Tosen: Kaname may not be as strong as Ichigo, but he is a great DPS unit in his own right. His Combined Strike ability allows him to jump and damage enemies when teamed with other Thrust Damage characters. His abilities have a stacking feature that accumulates over time and increases the damage taken by enemies.
  • Kisuke Urahara: A good support squad is crucial and it doesn't get any better than Kisuke. His ult gives a 50% bonus to critical damage, which is one of the best buffs in the entire game. It works well in any team composition and stacks. Reishi Analysis. Reishi Analysis further enhances the team's attack and can stack up to three times. Just pair him with a good DPS unit and you're good to go.

A-level

  • Ikkaku Madarame: Ikkaku has one of the best area attacks of any character, and also uses Injure with his attacks. He also offers piercing damage with Kaname and his For the bank The form increases his attack, range and as a bonus unlocks an incredible finisher.
  • Byakuya Kuchiki: I really like how Byakuya can be used as a secondary damage dealer on the field while controlling another character. His combat skill itself has enormous damage potential.
  • Sain Konamura: While a tank is not required, Sajin can create a shield for himself and his allies. If you can perform a combo or technique on enemies, you can use Sajin's battlefield skill indefinitely. However, the base damage is on the lower side.
  • Uryu Ishida: If you don't have a good SSR damage dealer, Uryu is a great alternative. It is easy to obtain from the gacha and deals decent damage from all of its attacks. It also offers area attacks that make it easy to wipe out waves.
  • Rukia: Great support that does a little bit of everything. Her attacks control the crowd (thanks to her freezes) and she pairs well with any team composition.

B-level

  • Yachiru Update: A good support character with decent damage, but there are better alternatives for her role. However, she is the best character for Ichigo Kurosaki-Bankai, so keep that in mind if you get lucky with the limited banner.
  • Orihime Inoue: A free character that offers shields, healing, and keeps you alive longer. If you're desperate for a healer, she's a good candidate.
  • Ichigo Kurasaki-Shikai: A better version than the starter option, but works well if you're focusing on Reiatsu.
  • Renji Abarai: Deals decent burst damage and has good AoE effects. However, it doesn't shine in any particular area when it comes to DPS units, and meta-wise there are better options.

C-level

There's not much to say about these characters. You can use them if you're a fan, but it's best to avoid investing resources.

  • Ichigo Kurosaki – The Beginning
  • Yasutora Sado
  • Ururu Tsumugiya
  • Nemu Kurotsuchi
