Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded early patch notes

Welcome from the CODMAS holiday. Are you rested? Good, because it's time to sweat again.

Black Ops 7 newest update, Season 1 rebootready to reboot the game with content in all modes including Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame and even war zone, as Treyarch's live streaming season picks up steam again after the holiday break.

New weapons

Two new weapons Hawker HX sniper rifle (BO2 Ballista) and Storm Wolf 45 An SMG (resembling the UMP 45) will be added as an event reward that all players will be able to unlock for free.

The Hawker HX can be unlocked in the limited-time Quantum Exchange event, and the Sturmwolf 45 can be unlocked in the limited-time event. Call of Duty X Fall out a pass to the event as a free reward.

New multiplayer content

New weapons need new locations, including some remasters of classic maps.

  • Cards
    • Collapse (BO2 remake)
    • Fringe (BO3 remake)
    • Yakei (new)
    • Vault City (Fall out-thematic version of Nuketown)
  • Modes
    • Adopt
      • “Take what's yours in this fun, fast-paced challenge mode. Two teams of six battle across three neutral territories, earning a point for each zone they control. The player with the most points at the end wins the game. Once all three zones are captured, there is a short cooldown before all three territories move to a new set of locations on the map.”

New zombie content

In addition to weapons, there is new content in Zombies mode.

  • Director's Mode: Evil Stars
  • Survival map: Zarya Cosmodrome
  • New LTM: Project RADS
    • “This season, feral ghouls and deathclaws invade the Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum. Fall out-a themed limited-time mode that exposes the crew to increased levels of radiation with each pass of a projectile. In this mode, the usual methods of healing and obtaining essence are replaced by a system of drops received from fallen enemies, which help the crew stay in shape, control radiation levels and obtain vital resources.”

New endgame content

Additions to the PvE Endgame mode include new world events and a new skill track based on melee attacks.

  • World Event: Ghost Wing
    • “This advanced Guild aircraft appears to have cloning capabilities with very lethal consequences, as this squadron appears hell-bent on killing as many JSOC operators as possible. Take it out of action, fire on the unprotected aircraft, and shoot this bird down.”
  • World Event: Hunting the Deathclaw
    • “In this limited-time world event, a bomb explodes and turns part of Avalon into Fall out-Inspired Wasteland. If you dare, venture into the blast zone to brave the poisonous air and fight the ferocious Deathclaws, protected by hordes of feral ghouls.”
  • Skill Track: Phantom
    • Ambush: Critical hits from behind on unsuspecting enemies deal increased damage.
    • Fast Melee: Faster melee speed.
    • Trap Evasion: Traps and mines take longer to detect you. Undetectable with a full update.
    • Silent Movement: Calms movement and reduces enemy detection distance.
    • Elusive Target: Reduces the accuracy of enemies shooting at you.
    • Decoy: When receiving significant damage, an echo block will be activated, distracting enemies.

Expect several nerfs and buffs to existing weapons in the update. Whenever the patch notes go live, there will be information here about what has been changed.

Return of BO6 equipment

Pile of unloading equipment from Black Opera 6 makes his way in BO7 with this update, including:

  • Thermal grenade (lethal)
  • War Machine (Score Series)
  • Arkhangelsk launcher (score strip)
  • Grim Reaper (Score Series)
  • Death Machine (Score Series)

  • Strategic Bomber (Score Streak)
  • Morphine Injector (on-site upgrade)
  • Tactical Implementation (Field Update)

Fallout collaboration (TV series)

Cooperation with Fall out The TV show on Prime Video will include operator skins, an event pass, shop packs, a Nuketown map variant, and more. Operator skins include Lucy McLean, Maximus, and Ghoul, but the game also features limited-time modes. war zone, Zombies, and multiplayer too.

New challenges and events

Additional weekly challenges will take place every Thursday at the end of the first season, as well as limited-time events where players can unlock more free content such as weapons and more.

Warzone Updates

More updates to come war zone, including weapon balancing and more. But there are also two time-limited modes:

  • LTM: High Octane
    • “All players are placed on the map with a custom loadout of their choice, so you're ready to take on your enemy with a full loadout from the start. Collect valuable loot throughout Verdansk, including gas masks, grappling hooks, and legendary weapons. Cash payouts have also been significantly increased, which pairs perfectly with the ability to call and buy from the buy station interface at any point in the match. Don't spend it all in one place, as you'll need cash on hand to activate the automatic redemption if you fall.”
  • Limited Time Mode: Royal Power Armor
    • “Ready to dominate your opponents with Power Armor? Hang on, Vault Dweller, you'll have to charge up that Fusion Core first. Each Operator is deployed with a Fusion Core, but it will take some work to power it up enough to enter the suit. Operators can fill up their Fusion Core by looting Fusion Core Canisters earned by completing contracts, eliminating enemies, opening crates of supplies and causing damage to users of enemy power armor.”

A full list of patch notes, including weapon nerfs and buffs, will be available closer to the launch of Season One Reloaded on January 8th.
