The retailer slashed prices on dozens of Blu-ray boxed sets and other physical media this week, and one of the best deals we found was on this eight-film set.Harry PotterThe Blu-ray package, currently 31% off, includes all eight films in the Warner Bros. franchise, from The Philosopher's Stone to The Deathly Hallows. Part 2″, on 16 discs.
The set includes the complete cast: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and both parts of Deathly Hallows. Each film is presented in high definition with theatrical cuts preserved.
The Blu-ray discs also include previously released bonus features for the series, which vary depending on the title. Extras include behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews with cast and crew, production diaries, deleted scenes and making-of footage that were originally released during the films' home entertainment run. Some of the earlier films also retain interactive “In-Movie Experience” tracks and BD-Live content where applicable.
The Harry Potter franchise has been a strong driver of physical sales for over a decade, regularly ranking among the catalog's best-selling titles each holiday season. In 2016, Warner Bros. has remastered the entire franchise for 4K UHD, releasing each film with enhanced HDR and Dolby Atmos mixes. Since then, they have released several home entertainment titles over the years, including original Blu-ray and DVD releases, multi-volume Yearbook sets, and premium editions. box “Wizard Collection”, which remains one of the studio's most carefully crafted collector's editions to date.
