I've heard that movie recordings come into our lives for a reason, bringing with them something for us to watch… I don't know if I believe it, but I know you're here today because you don't have a clue. Okay, here are some weekend viewing tips so you can put away that remote for good (or, you know, for a while).
The final chapter of last year's phenomenon. Evil: For good sets that complete the stories of Elphaba and Glinda after Shiz. Elphaba is determined to expose the Wizard, while Glinda admires her newfound fame and Fiyero is like that. For good there are no heavy songs in the first act, but there are still some songs to look forward to.

Netflix is making sure you have something to watch with your parents this Thanksgiving, and they'll especially love seeing Ted Danson's private detective character fall in love with his real-life wife, Mary Steenburgen. — Katherine VanArendonk

In the first ContentA strong old Finn said that in fact he was a legendary commando who brutally destroyed a group of Nazis in a Waffen-SS platoon. In the sequel, he tears apart the Soviet Red Army officer who killed his family. What more could you want from a movie? —J.G.
Selena Quintanilla's legacy is an enduring one, bolstered by her talent, charisma and, unfortunately, tragedy. Her story has been told many times, most notably in the Jennifer Lopez biopic, but the documentary, directed by Isabel Castro, gives insight into Selena's life through old family footage. This is truly a wonderful watch for all Selena fans.
Ken Burns' new six-part, 12-hour documentary, co-directed with Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, takes his long-running project of exploring the soul of America straight to its roots, arriving at a difficult moment for both the country and PBS itself amid the defunding of public media. It will feature stories by Tom Hanks, Claire Danes, Matthew Rhys and Josh Brolin, among others. — Nicholas Quah
Critical Role a group of nerdy voice actors who make a living from streaming Dungeons and Dragons games are back on Prime Video with another animated series. First show The Legend of Vox Machinaadapted their first D&D campaign while Mighty Nein solves the second, which is a little darker and more complex. However, no prior knowledge of rolling dice is required—it works as a standalone fantasy adventure. —J.G.
The annual winter special is the lowest bid the show can get, with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith at their best as judges and the contestants just there to have a fun Christmas time. However, the challenges are likely greater than anything you'll have in store this year. — Rohana Hadadi
Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman star in the remake of the classic 1989 divorce comedy. War of the Roses like a couple whose seemingly perfect marriage completely breaks down. Dark satirical shenanigans ensue as these two crazy kids fail to make sense. —J.G.
Supported by The undeniable chemistry between Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, Witchcraft the films are one of the most successful horror franchises. Last rites It outlines the story of the Smurls, a family haunted by a vengeful demon. It was also touted as the last film starring Farmiga and Wilson as the Warrens, which is a shame, especially since there's no sign of a sequel. Spell The universe is slowing down.
