Boxing Day is approaching, which means carriers are running all sorts of promotions. Not all of them are good, but there are some surprisingly good offerings.
So, with that in mind, here's a rundown of some of the best deals we've seen from Canadian carriers this Boxing Day (or Boxing Week, if that's how you look at it). We'll look at wireless plans first and then look at some phone deals.
Before we get down to business, a few reminders for you. First, many of the deals listed below expire on January 5, 2026, although some may end earlier and some may end later (or be extended). We'll also try to keep this post up to date, but carriers change things quickly, so if anything is missing or has changed, please let us know.
Finally, as always, take the time to crunch the numbers on the deals, since in many cases it's cheaper to buy the phone outright and pair it with a bring-your-own-phone plan (BYOP) than to finance it with a plan from the carrier.

Best wireless plan deals for Boxing Day
Freedom offers a $9/month BYOP discount on some plans, get offers like $39/70GB, $40/100GB and more when used in Canada, USA or Mexico.
Public Mobile has increased the details of its plans offer offerings very similar to Freedom – a great option if Freedom is not available in your area. Public is also offering a 35GB/75GB data plan to some existing customers..

Fizz Mobile 50 Percent Discount Plans for three months for new subscribers – get the Canada/US plan for $23/100GB.
Rogers offers a ton of perks on some plans, including three months free of Citytv+, a year of free Uber One, $5 off Sportsnet+ for 12 months, and more. (Note that the only “offer” on the plan is an $85/month plan that includes 25GB of bonus data. Otherwise, there are no discounts directly from Rogers.)
Bell gives you a free year of Perplexity Pro AI and bundles Crave Standard with advertising with some plans.
Flanker brands Code, FidoAnd Virgin Plus all have 40/50GB and 45/70GB plans that include bonus data, credits, and autopay discounts.
Best smartphone deals on Boxing Day
It's important to note that many of the smartphone deals below include a device return program. In short, these programs offer lower monthly financing costs if customers agree to return the device after 24 months or pay a fee to keep it. Some deals may be worth it if you want to upgrade your phone more often, but if you want to keep your phone for longer (which we recommend), you may want to consider this additional cost.
