ZURICH – Canadians Patrice Bergeron and Cassie Campbell-Pascal will be inducted into the International Hockey Hall of Fame in 2026.

They will join Niklas Kronwall from Sweden, Florence Schelling and Andrew Ambühl from Switzerland, and Thomas Vanek from Austria as players. Winnipeg's Ralph Krueger, who coached the Swiss men's team for more than a decade, will be named builder.

Bergeron, from L'Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, is a member of the IIHF Triple Gold Club and has won an Olympic gold medal, a World Championship and a Stanley Cup. He was the only player to win a World Championship gold medal before winning the World Junior Championship.

A two-way player who was dangerous in the offensive zone as both a passer and scorer, Bergeron also won a Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011. He played his entire 19-year, 1,294-game career with the Bruins until his retirement in 2023. Bergeron won Olympic gold medals for Canada in 2010 and 2014.

Campbell-Pascall led Team Canada to Olympic gold medals in women's hockey in 2002 and 2006. She won eight World Championship gold medals during a career in which she started as a defender and later switched to a striker.

Campbell-Pascall, of Brampton, Ontario, became the first woman to provide NHL color commentary on Hockey Night in Canada, which she did alongside Bob Cole in 2006. She currently serves as a special advisor to the Professional Women's Hockey League.
