In today's program, Hadid and stylist Mimi Cuttrell has outlined the best way to style a pair of white jeans in the new year, from the perfect silhouette to the perfect boot pairing.
The first step is to find the right pair of white jeans to anchor your entire look. Wide-leg jeans have ruled the last few seasons, and Hadid's own wardrobe in Aspen largely focuses on flash of the 70sThe 29-year-old model opted for a pair of casual '90s mid-rise jeans that taper at the ankle like Dakota Johnson beloved cigarette jeans but with a little more bang for your buck. Once you have the perfect pair of white jeans, you can start styling them. On January 1, Hadid proved that black and white is still the chicest combination of all time by pairing her ecru pants with a simple white long-sleeved tee, a collarless black leather jacket, and all-black accessories; including the best friend of all straight-leg jeans: heeled ankle boots.
While ankle boots saw a bit of a resurgence towards the end of 2025, we're about to see them legitimately dominate footwear trends in 2026. As we move further away from wide-leg silhouettes and towards straight-legged styles, ankle boots are becoming the go-to option for a more streamlined and elevated look than can be achieved with a pair of Sambas or a try Gen-X Boot Liner with your favorite pair of cowboy boots.
Of course, that didn't stop Hadid from adding a little bit of her own personality. cowgirl aesthetic in her latest look, opting for a black belt with a western style gold buckle.
