The Bears led 41-27 when DJome Moeure is completed the play into the end zone with 4:53 left in the game. Chicago nearly put the game away when Terrell Edmunds took the ball away from Flacco and returned it for what was ruled a touchdown. However, officials determined that Edmunds went down as a result of contact and overturned the 96-yard return.

On their next drive, Chicago went three-and-out. Flacco then led the Bengals on a four-play, 55-yard drive that ended with a touchdown pass to Noah Fant. The Bengals needed the ball to bounce out of the way on an offside kick attempt, and it did.

Then it only took Flacco six plays to find Andrei Iosivas for a positive result. The momentum was firmly on Team Bengals.
