Battlefield 6 introduced a new “relaxed way” to play while “still earning progress and completing challenges” – Casual Breakthrough.
Giving you the opportunity to take part in the action “without the stress of a full-fledged PvP lobby”, Casual Breakthrough is now available under the Multiplayer tab in the main menu.
While you won't be able to earn tokens, rewards, or career stat updates, you will be able to play in small teams on the Siege of Cairo or Empire State maps.

It is important to note that you will receive full XP for “real player actions” and reduced XP for any actions with the bot.
Here's what you can expect from Casual Breakthrough:
- Smaller teams of players: 16 real players (8 per team) and 32 teammates/bot enemies (16 per team).
- Progression: Earn Career XP, Weapon XP, Battle Pass XP and complete Challenges.
- Balanced experience: full experience from real player actions, reduced experience from bot actions.
- Maps: The first maps available in this mode are Siege of Cairo and Empire State.
