Battlefield 6 is going big
All the wars are back. This time it's bigger and better than ever. In fact, in terms of player base, this is the highest number of players ever. Today, EA and Battlefield Studios are pleased to announce that the latest installment in the iconic Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 6, has broken the franchise's launch record. In fact, the press release goes into more detail about the impact of player feedback, citing insights from Byron Beede, Battlefield's general manager, and the future of the game in Season 1.
“First of all, we want to thank our players. Beed says in a press release, “Battlefield 6 was built with our fans. From the initial concept to Battlefield Labs' implementation, all the way through to the record-breaking open beta, we've been obsessed with player feedback. Together with our players, we had one goal: to create the best Battlefield Always.”
It's important to note that the game will be releasing its first season in 12 days. In addition to the start of the season, a new map will be added to the game: Blackwell Fields. Additionally, the start of a new season introduces players to Rogue Ops, a new 4v4 game mode, and more.
