Since taking over CBS News, CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss has shown no fear, and her response to attacks on her by Hollywood leftist darling George Clooney is truly…Fabulous.
It all started after the 64-year-old actor took a jab at Weiss's leadership, of course using general statements devoid of any details about Weiss. The comments came after she published a 60 Minutes story about the alleged treatment of illegal aliens at the CECOT prison in El Salvador.
She later explained that the reason was that he was not ready. RedState reported.
Statement from CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss:

“My job is to make sure that everything we publish is as good as possible. Keeping stories that aren't ready for whatever reason—say, because there isn't enough context or because there aren't critical voices—happens every day in every newsroom,” Weiss said in a statement. “I look forward to airing this important material when it is ready.”
In recent Diversity In the interview, Clooney said Weiss was “dismantling CBS,” amid his broader criticism of the network's settlement with President Donald Trump over a deceptively edited 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris.
Weiss responded to Clooney's attack with a statement to New York Post, inviting him to come to her work for a tour to learn about the news business. Oh.

“Good afternoon Mr. Clooney, a big fan of your work,” Weiss said in a statement released by CBS parent company Skydance. “It looks like you would like to know more about us.”
“This is an open invitation to visit the CBS Broadcast Center, where I am spending the holidays working on the relaunch of the Evening News with my colleagues,” the statement said. “Tune in for January 5th.”
Another 60 Minutes: Trump brilliantly turns the tables on CBS News in two powerful clips
In the Variety article, Clooney also criticized the networks for settling their lawsuits, saying CBS did so so Trump would “approve the sale of Paramount to Skydance” without any evidence. The deal took place in August, and Paramount's new owner, Skydance Media, led by David Ellison, brought in Weiss.
“If CBS and ABC had fought these lawsuits and said, 'Go ahead. [..] If you were on your own, we wouldn’t be where we are in the country,” Clooney said. “It's just the truth.”
Weiss's trolling of the Ocean's Eleven star, who recently officially became a French citizen, was layered given Clooney's recent Broadway role as legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow.
This is how you crush the lies and accusations from the left, in the light of day. Great job.
