Baltimore protesters target Trump during Army-Navy football game visit

President Donald Trump Attending the 126th Army-Navy football game on Saturday was met with a crowd of protesters outside M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Footage on social media shows the street leading to stadium.

Protests were expected over the game in the heavily Democratic city after Trump suggested sending the National Guard to Baltimore to help combat rampant crime in the city. Baltimore consistently ranks among U.S. cities with high crime rates, often ranking in the top five for violent crime, especially murder and robbery.

This was previously reported by the left-wing activist group Free State Coalition (FSC). Baltimore Aquarium he will be planning anti-Trump protests before Saturday's game.

“Baltimore refuses to remain silent in the face of authoritarianism,” an FSC spokesperson told the publication. “The protest is not something anti-American, but it is fascism; this country was born in opposition to tyranny. We want to send a message to our neighbors who feel isolated and afraid to speak up: you are not alone. This is not normal, this is not normal, and if we work together, this is not the future of America.”

The anti-Trump protests also began the same day officials said two U.S. Army soldiers and an American translator were killed in an ambush in Syria.

Trump said the attack was carried out by ISIS and that “there will be very serious retaliation.”

“We mourn the loss of three great American patriots in Syria, two soldiers and one civilian interpreter. Likewise, we are praying for the three wounded soldiers who were just confirmed to be doing well,” Trump wrote in a Saturday Truth Social post.

“This was an ISIS attack against the US and Syria, in a very dangerous part of Syria that is not completely under their control. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is extremely angry and concerned about this attack. There will be very serious retribution. Thank you for your attention to this issue!”
