The God Bless America Controversy?
Sports superfan says he did nothing wrong!!!

Bad BunnyHe was recently criticized for watching God Bless America at Yankee Stadium, but the Marlins Man tells TMZ everyone needs to calm down… because this guy didn't break any rules.
Sports Superfan (real name: Lawrence Leavy) says he's mad that people are tearing Bad Bunny apart for this… insisting the rapper had every right to sit is not against the law, and frankly, there are much bigger problems in the world than this.
Marlins Man says he was sitting next to BB when it all happened, and of course he told him to stand up – but Camp Bunny had their reasons. His supervisor even mentioned it. Monologue “SNL” where BB joked that Americans need “4 months to learn Spanish before the Super Bowl.”
But Bunny himself was silent, kept to himself, came late, left early and was glued to the phone. Fans around them thought he was shying away from the national anthem and the phrase “God Bless America” caught him off guard, so he walked away, but the Marlins say it was more like bad timing than any major political statement.
He admits that the optics didn't help – especially because B.B. was disguised and sitting next to him dressed as a traffic cone – but still there shouldn't be a scandal.
In the end, the Marlins say this was all nothing but bad luck for Bunny… and it should never have blown up the way it did.
