BC Police were called to investigate after a woman was struck by a police cruiser late Sunday night.
Surrey police say it happened at a busy intersection in what has long been considered a bedroom community for Vancouver.

Despite medical assistance from emergency services, the woman died on the spot.
Investigators did not release details about the woman.
Police say the Independent Investigations Office has been notified to investigate the incident.
They say motorists should find alternate routes as parts of the area near 152nd Street and 64th Avenue will be closed for the investigation.
