B.C. Lions open upper bowl for West Semi-Final against Calgary Stampeders

The BC Lions open the upper bowl at BC Place in the upcoming Western Semi-Final against the Calgary Stampeders.

The last time the Lions hosted a playoff game was in 2023, when the Stampeders visited the Western semifinals with a crowd of 30,149. BC Place's lower bowl seats about 25,500 people, a club spokesman previously said. 3DownNation.

BC's average regular season attendance this year was 27,124, up 0.9 percent from 2024, when the team finished third in the CFL.

The Lions also announced that fans will have bus transportation available on game day, taking the ferry from Victoria to Tsawwassen. The bus ticket, which costs $50, will transport fans to the stadium and then back to Tsawwassen for departure in the evening. This offer does not include ferry tickets or games.

The BC Lions (11-7) will host the Calgary Stampeders (11-7) in the Western Semi-Finals at BC Place on Saturday, November 1, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET.
