Ayaneo is best known for its retro-style gaming laptops, but the company has now confirmed that its first phone will be soon. Ayaneo briefly hinted that it was working on a phone back in August during an event that unveiled a dual-screen model. Pocket DS. Of course, many company representatives games laptop computers run a special version on Android, so installing a cellular modem in it will not be a big deal.
We don't know much about the portable device. The video offers a quick look at a fairly standard rectangle. The top left corner houses the dual cameras and you can make out what appear to be shoulder buttons. Android Center suggested that the Ayaneo phone may have a sliding design similar to Sony Xperia Playwhere the controls are hidden under the screen, but this is impossible to determine from the video.
Ayaneo isn't the only company on the market to offer a gaming-focused phone, but modern versions tend to eschew physical controls. First of all, these are phones, but with high quality chips and cooling to help them cope with demanding games. Physical control are usually reserved for accessories, but perhaps the Ayaneo phone will break that trend. Of course, we don't even know if the Ayaneo phone will come to the US or not, so don't get too excited just yet.
