Ariana Grande tells Teyana Taylor she's proud to compete with her in the tournament. Golden Globe 2026.
Taylor, 35, shared a photo taken on December 17th. Instagram story that showed a bouquet of flowers Grande 32 sent to her.
Grande, who was nominated in the category “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in Wicked: For Good includes a sweet card for Taylor, who was nominated in the same category for her role in One Battle After Another.
“Teyana, hello and congratulations on this well-deserved moment and nomination! It is a great honor for me to be in your company at this moment!” Grande wrote.
“I really loved 'One Battle After Another,'” she continued, “and I'm so excited to tell you more in person, but I just wanted to say that you are so brilliant and I'm so excited to share this moment and the nomination with you.”
She captioned the card: “Love always, Ariana.”
Taylor added her own message for Grande in her post, writing, “This is so sweet @arianagrande, thank you. Your message made this moment even more special for me. I am also honored to share this space with you and am deeply grateful for your kindness and support. See you soon”.
The milestone marks Taylor's first Golden Globe nomination. Her role as a political revolutionary in One Battle After Another has already earned her awards from the Chicago Film Critics Association, Los Angeles Film Critics Association, Washington Film Critics Association and other groups.
Grande was previously nominated for a Golden Globe last year for her role as Glinda in Wicked. She also received an Academy Award nomination, a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, and a BAFTA Award nomination for her role.
Grande and Taylor will face stiff competition at the 2026 Golden Globes. Also nominated in her category is Emily Blunt for ““Wrecking Machine”, Elle Fanning for “Sentimental Value”, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleas for “Sentimental Value” and Amy Madigan for “Guns”.
