December 22 marks the beginning of a new season in ARK Raidersand with it new Trials.
The new set, available until December 29, includes five tasks. As always, some tasks are more difficult to complete than others. This guide will provide you with all the vital information you need to complete the challenges and get three stars in the process.
ARC Raiders Week 9 Challenge Guide
Week 9 challenges can be broken down into five challenges.
- Search for First Wave Shells
- Damage Jumpers
- Harvest plants
- Search Frozen Raider containers
- Destroy ticks
Search for First Wave Shells
First Wave Huskies are the remains of giant metal robots destroyed in the war against humanity. Their remains can be found on all maps, but the best places have always been on the Blue Gate. This map tends to have many remains at various points of interest.
To increase the odds in your favor, you should wait for the Husk Graveyard condition, as this will increase the number of interactive metal projectiles. You will also receive double contribution points when the card condition is active.
Damage Jumpers
Although this task is relatively simple, you will have to be careful. Falling into a Jumper's trap in the open means almost certain death. One of my favorite spots is the elevator near the water control building at the Dam Battlefield.
The jumper almost always wanders around the area near the elevator, and there is also a bunker there. Staying in the bunker will prevent the Jumper's attacks from dealing damage, but you can continue to shoot at him. To get three stars, you need to use a weapon with decent DPS, and you should always hit its knuckles and eyes. These are softer areas and will be able to quickly increase their damage requirements.
Harvest plants
Different plants can appear on each map, with the exception of Stella Montis. For example, the South Swamp area of ​​Dam Battlegrounds has a lot of foliage to get through. If you're on the Blue Gate, the Olive Garden at the southern end of the map is also a great place to visit.
Ultimately, you can also choose effective farming routes on YouTube. However, you can take your time completing this task and increasing your rank to three stars. Your progress will be taken into account across multiple raids, so there is no need to search for optimal routes (I prefer to do this task by mixing it with other quests).
Search Frozen Raider containers
To find Frozen Raider containers, you need to go to a map with the Cold Cold condition active. Frozen raider containers are nothing more than regular raider caches, only covered with snow. Frozen options offer better rewards depending on the card's conditions. My favorite map for this is the Dam Battlegrounds map, and you should take a look at the locations marked in the screenshot above.
However, you can also find Raider Containers on other maps while the Cold Chill condition is active.
Destroy ticks
The best card for this task is Stella Montis. Hotel Stella Montis has several rooms accessible through doors. To be more specific, you need to target rooms on the ground floor. Many of these rooms may have ticks hiding behind the doors.
Ticks are easy to kill as they have low health and armor. However, they can attack you quite quickly if you are not paying attention. It's best to use single-shot weapons against them, such as shotguns, which work well at short ranges.
