Applications are now open for the Games London Accelerator 2026 – Unlocking IP, organized by the London Games Festival.
The two-month program will run from January to March 2026 for UK developers and will include a mix of online and in-person sessions focusing on how developers can develop their IP “while scaling their games studio.” Classes will be taught by Christian Fonnesbech and Jennifer Schneidereit.
Five selected UK studios will also receive free access to the Games Finance Market on April 14 and 15, as well as a free showcase space on New Game Plus on April 16 and 17 at the London Games Festival.
“We launched the first Games London Pitch boot camp in 2017 and began a long-term program of developing talent at UK and London game companies, which ultimately led to the creation of the Games London Accelerator and then Game Changer,” said Head of the London Games Michael French.
“And what was new is now widespread: there are about 10 more comparable programs at the national and regional level, which is great to see.
“So for our next Games London Accelerator we will be focusing on a specific theme: creating quality IP that can compete globally. This is one of the next big challenges for the UK games business.”
Candidates must apply by December 8th.
