Apple’s relocated Montreal store to open on January 16

Apple announced that its flagship store in Montreal will have a new home on Friday, January 16 at 10 a.m.

On this day, Apple Sainte-Catherine will officially be located in the historic building on the corner of Rue Sainte-Catherine and Rue de la Montagne. This historic building has been around for over 100 years and was last home to Arden. Press first reported plans for a new locationwhich is right across the street from the old one, back in 2024.

To celebrate the opening of the new Sainte-Catherine store, Apple collaborated with Montreal's Catherine Potvin to create a large-scale illustration that references the city's iconic cultural scene. Artwork featuring artists, musicians, athletes and chefs using Apple products will be on display until the grand opening on January 16th.

In addition, Potvin will host a live art demonstration on iPad during the opening weekend, and customers who make a purchase will receive an Apple Store gift bag containing her artwork. Potvin's demonstrations will take place on Friday, January 16, from 11:00 to 14:00 and on Saturday, January 17, from 1:30 to 16:00.

Location of Sainte-Catherine one of five Apple Stores in Quebec along with residents of Brossard, Laval, Pointe-Claire and Quebec City. The company has a total of 28 retail stores across Canada.
