If you asked me which streaming service has the best TV shows, I would answer: Apple TV (recently just rebranded from Apple TV+). But if you asked me which series has the fewest series, I would also answer: Apple TV. I love Severance pay and all that, but when new episodes don't come out, they usually aren't enough to keep me subscribed. That's why I'm so excited about the new bundle deal from Apple and Peacock: For just $2 more than a standard Apple TV subscription (or the same price as a monthly Peacock subscription), you can get them both.
Peacock It's not my favorite streaming service, but since it draws on most of NBC and Universal's respective catalogs, it's usually enough to keep me interested between new seasons of series. Poker Faceespecially when it comes to the movie library. Treble isn't as high as Apple's, but it's enough that you'll likely find something to watch when you need background noise. Bundling it with Apple TV is a smart way to address each platform's weaknesses.
How to subscribe to the Apple TV/Peacock package
According to AppleThe new pack will be released on October 20th, so it's not quite ready yet. But once it arrives, you'll be able to pay $14.99 a month to bundle Apple TV and Peacock Premium, or $19.99 a month to upgrade to an ad-free Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus. Considering that a month of Apple TV costs $12.99 and a month of Peacock Premium will cost $10.99, this is a pretty good deal.
It's also a good time for Halloween, as Peacock is home to classics such as Thing as well as later hits such as Horror movies. For some reason, most of Universal's monster movies are made Pipes they're their home this year instead, but Peacock's horror selection is still stronger than Apple's selection on its own.

As for whether it's worth paying $5 extra for the Peacock Premium Plus package, that depends on how much you hate ads. This package is much more expensive than the Apple TV on its own, but on the other hand, a month of Peacock Premium Plus will typically cost you $16.99, so the $19.99 you'll pay to add Apple TV to this package isn't bad deal with. For the extra money, you'll eliminate ads while watching Peacock and also add the ability to download content for offline viewing.
Apple says that once the deal goes into effect, you'll be able to access it through the Apple TV or Peacock websites/apps. Meanwhile, if you're subscribed to Apple's One Family or Premier plan, which includes Apple TV along with a number of other Apple platforms, you'll need to sign up for Peacock separately. However, Apple says it will offer a 35% discount on Peacock Premium Plus for Apple One subscribers, which will bring the price down to about $11 per month, or about the same price as ad-supported Peacock Premium.
