Apple has updated its Apple TV app on Android add Google Cast support to make it easier for Android users stream shows and movies to your TVs and other large screen devices.
With a new feature, you can now stream content from the Apple TV app to your TV. telephone directly to Chromecast, Google TV and Android TV devices TVs and other Cast-enabled screens. Previously, Android phone users were largely limited to viewing content on their mobile devices or TVs that already had the Apple TV app built-in.

What Google Cast support means for Android users
Google Cast is a staple feature for many Android users, and its arrival in the Apple TV app closes a long-standing gap compared to Apple's own AirPlay streaming feature.
After updating the app, you should see the Cast icon during playback. By clicking on it, you'll be able to send Apple TV originals and purchased movies and TV shows to your compatible TV or streaming device without the need for any Apple hardware.
Why did this update take so long?
Apple has gradually expanded the Apple TV experience beyond its own devices, making apps available on smart TVs, streaming boxes, gaming consoles and mobile platforms. However, Android users often get fewer features than their iOS analogues.
The lack of Google Cast support was glaring, especially since most major streaming apps, including Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video And YouTube TV — Supported casting for many years.
How to get this update
Google Cast support is now available. You can download the Apple TV app, which runs on Android mobile devices in February via the Google Play Store. Android users must ensure they have the latest version of the Apple TV app to access this feature.
With the update, watching Apple TV on the big screen will be as easy as pressing the Cast button.
