Aorus reveals a next-gen gaming PC concept – Project Cielo

From blue, Aorus revealed his concept for the next generation Project Cielo. This, of course, looks different, with its triangular structure of styling, and, as the statement, it is also modular. But is it really a “future of games”?

As a conceptual PC, you can forgive Gigabyt / Aurus for the fact that it was a little light on the details. There really are no technical characteristics to share. At the first impression, I thought that there could be three separate modular segment of conceptual design; CPU, graphic processor and power/storage – something like that. Nevertheless, the vision of Aorus and the modular design are not at all like that; The concept, as shown, consists of the “main system, battery and dynamics of Bluetooth.” Looking more carefully at the images, these descriptions of the modules are used from top to bottom. From above, on the main PC system unit, you will also see wings similar to the Angel cake, 5G antennas.

It seems that Aurus believes that 5G is very important for the future game PC. “Compared to traditional wire or 4G wireless networks, 5G makes a computer Press release about the Cielo projectThe field in this way, whether the PC of the game will rely more on an excellent connection in the future, and not on the exceptional power of processing in the chassis – this seems to be Aorus, which is a little strange for the Gigabyte PC for promotion. Why, instead, do not use an easy-up tablet 5G for such portable high pennies, with a large bonus, it has a screen.

In the description of the product, Aorus reveals an even weaker connection with the current concepts of the game PC, “users can combine any of the two parts and satisfy their needs for games, entertainments or other mobile applications.” So this conceptual computer does not even need a bit that is a PC …

This can be one of the first conceptual modular PCs of recent years for which I have no hope or enthusiasm. Therefore, this will probably be one of the first to turn it into a concept into retail, but the fingers are crossed for failure to appear on CES 2022.
