Another Eden gets a goodie-packed half-anniversary campaign and time-twisting new story beats

  • Another Eden introduces version 3.13.0 update
  • The update is dedicated to the 8.5th anniversary
  • Experience new story content along with various goodies and events.

Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space (my vote for weirdest title) has just released version 3.13.0 update. This update not only celebrates the 8.5th anniversary of Another Eden, but also includes brand new story content in the form of Ode to the Beginning: Act 2 – People, a Just Dream.

Equally suggestive title aside, what does this new story content offer? Well, it's all a bit esoteric, but as ruins suddenly start appearing out of nowhere, Aldo and his friends must travel to the future to find out their origins. After reuniting with the Chrono clan, you will need to go to the slab in the south called Aura to find out the truth.

To help you with this, there is a new character – Mildy. Follow our Another list of Eden levels to see where they end up!. And thanks to the 8.5-year anniversary, there are plenty of goodies throughout the campaign to help you get there.

In the Garden of Eden

To kick off the half-year anniversary campaign, Another Eden on Mondays is being launched. You can get a free white key by logging in every week until November 25th, from 3am on Monday to 2:59am on Tuesday (UTC). Use the white keys to enter the Phantom Crystal Dimension for a chance to get extra goodies.

Meanwhile, the daily campaign until November 17 offers either Guiding Light or Luring Shadow every day from 3:00 pm to 2:59 pm the next day (UTC again). This is in addition to the Revival Campaigns, which are available until December 31st, and Whispers of Time, which can be encountered once per day until November 5th.

But if Another Eden's esoteric style seems too calm and cuddly for you, maybe it's time to wring a few necks? Figuratively speaking, of course, so check out our Hitman: Absolution mobile review to see what we thought of Feral Interactive's latest port!
