On Monday on SiriusXM Radio's “The Dean Obeidallah Show,” Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) said America has become the “Great Satan” under President Donald Trump.
Discussing the US military's strikes on suspected drug ships, Obeidallah said: “We don't have any punishment in America for anyone, even if they were selling drugs, for you to execute them. As far as I know, there is no death penalty. And even if there was, you would have some due process. This is not a situation where you say, 'I'm not going to show you the evidence, but just trust me.' This man is a drug dealer, and we're just going to kill him. And if they survive, we're going to kill those who survived the first hits. That's not good.”
Johnson said: “Yes, we are the number one bully in the world. We use our enormous unmatched power to control those with less power. And we do it with impunity. And this sends a shocking message to the world that America is really, as they called us, the Great Hand of Satan or something like that? I mean, America under the Trump regime demonstrates that that nickname was completely accurate.
