Almost 99% Of Black Ops 7 Beta Matches Were Cheater-Free, Activision Claims

Activision has published new statistics that indicate fraud in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta, with the company claiming that almost 99% of matches are cheat-free.

Anti-cheat team Activision Ricochet. said When beta testing began on October 2, about 97.5% of matches were completed without cheaters. By the fifth day of beta testing, approximately 98.8% of matches had no cheaters. Now that the beta has ended, Activision has reported that throughout the beta, nearly 99% of matches were free of cheaters. And the average time to detect cheaters was three matches.

The publisher went on to say that the anti-cheat tools in the Black Ops 7 beta have “adapted and improved over time,” helping to ensure that “more players get the clean matches they expect.”

Activision added that it has spent years investing and improving anti-cheat tools to get to where it is today, and it's not over yet. The publisher said it will continue to work to improve its anti-cheating tools so people can feel confident they're playing a clean and fair match.

“We're not done yet,” Activision said. “Ricochet anti-cheat continues to adapt to protect your time and your matches, and most importantly, earn your trust. That's not all.”

When the Black Ops 7 beta launched on October 2, people were quick to notice a video of apparent cheating in the test. Activision later stated that these videos did not reflect the current state of the game as the affected accounts had already been affected.

The Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta ended on October 9, but the party continued. Black Ops 6 Season 6 and Big Halloween Event starts on this day. A Black Ops 6 free trial launched on October 9th and will run until October 16th.

Overall, it's a busy time for first-person shooter fans, as EA Battlefield 6 released on October 10th, and a new game from a Battlefield veteran, Arc Raiderswill be released on October 30th. Meanwhile, Black Ops 7 will release on November 14th.
