The Old World update introduced the Tauron Strike mechanic to Warframe this allows you to use additional abilities, all of which offer unique bonuses.
Once you complete the Old World update and unlock Rise of Perita, you will be able to use the Tauron Strike mechanic. However, this mechanic is not completely limited to Rise of Perita mode if you manage to protect the Tectolist artifacts.
Let's look at all the weapons and their passive abilities, as well as how to obtain them.
All passive abilities of the Tauron Strike Tektolyst weapon in Warframe
There are five different Tektolyst Artifact weapons that can be obtained in Warframe.
- Cogron (unlocks Uniaru Tauron Strike nodes)
- Lorak (unlocks Zenurik Tauron's Strike nodes)
- Nidri (unlocks Vasarin Tauron's Strike nodes)
- Tara (unlocks Madurai Tauron Strike nodes)
- Vexorik (unlocks Naramon Tauron Strike nodes)
Each weapon is associated with a specific set of nodes, and you'll want to use the one that suits your build. When you purchase the Tektolyst artifact (required to use this weapon outside of Perita's Rise), it unlocks five additional passive nodes.
The first level will be unlocked automatically, but the remaining nodes and levels will have to be unlocked manually using various resources.

How to get Tektolyst artifacts in Warframe

You can get Tektolyst artifacts from Marie by trading the following resources.
- 150 Lyroic Bridge (obtained from Hunhallus)
- 150 Ren Hypercore (obtained from Daktolist)
- 150 Ascaris Prime (obtained from Prime Vanguard)
Completing Perita's Rebellion missions will help you obtain all three resources. You will also receive 75 of all three resources from the Old World quest. The remaining quantities will require you to hone missions.
Although you can choose multiple Artifacts, they are expensive. Hence, you should always make your first choice carefully.
How to perform Tauron Strike in Warframe
After you equip the Tektolyst artifact, you will notice a circle near the energy bar. This circle shows how close you are to landing Tauron Strike (think of it as your ultimate attack). After you use the attack, you will have to wait for the charging process to complete. Here's how you can charge the Tauron Strike meter.
- Killing an enemy gives you 0.2% charge. All kills made by you and your ally in the same zone will be counted.
- Picking up the Convergence Sphere will fill the meter by 20%. You will also receive a temporary buff by picking up an orb.
- Each focal lens increases the rate of charge buildup. The profit is constant and you can get a 0.22% charge after killing an enemy (instead of the base 0.2%).
