Ninja Gaiden 4 has a fair amount of controls to master, whether you're using a keyboard/mouse or a controller.
Most of the advanced controls revolve around shortcuts, which are often a combination of two buttons. Before you can master them, you have to master the basic controls. They determine how well you move with Ryu/Yakumo and destroy enemies.

How to change controls in Ninja Gaiden 4?
If you are not happy with the default layout, you can change the controls for all input methods. The controllers have different presets that you can choose from. If you want to change your keyboard/mouse controls, select an input method and click the new button you want to assign.
