AEW’s Andrade Reportedly Pulled From Lucha Libre Show In Atlanta, No Reason Given

It didn't take long for Andrade to find his feet after being fired from WWE. when he made a surprise return to AEW Dynamite: 6th Anniversary.attacking Kenny Omega and joining Don Callis' family. Just a few days later, he added some gold to his waist by traveling to Tijuana, Baja California to defeat DMT Azul for the Crash Heavyweight Championship. But since then, Andrade has been nowhere to be seen on AEW TV, and a potential match between him and Omega at WrestleDream will not happen. as Andrade is set to perform in Puerto Rico on the same day.

This isn't the only possible Andrade match off the calendar. On Monday afternoon, user foos told X that the scheduled match between Andrade and Los Angeles Park, which was scheduled to take place on October 26 as part of the Fly Luchas Atlanta promotion, will no longer happen. According to foos, no reason was given why the match would not take place. He will be replaced by Mascarita Sagrada against Demus.

Andrade vs. Park, who many fans may remember as the original La Parka who wrestled in WCW back in the 1990s or for being fired from MLW in 2022this would be the first time these two lucha libre stars went head-to-head. However, Pak who was a longtime rival of Andrade's AEW colleague, longtime friend and former LFI stablemate Rush. has been known for the past decade for his poor relationship with AEW's promotional partner CMLL since he last wrestled there in 2019. It remains unclear whether this is related to why the Andrade-Park match was cancelled.
