Aaron Donald may retire from the NFL, but the discus champ is convinced the dude could still pursue an elite career in athletics.
TMZ Sport caught up Reggie Hunters — who threw the discus for the Red, White and Blue during the 2020 Tokyo Games — in Los Angeles this month… and he said he's confident Donald could throw the shot put at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles if he puts his mind to it.
Jagers told us there's not a lot of technique involved… and given the brute strength and training money that Donald has, it doesn't shock him at all to see the former Ram succeed in this competition.
In fact, Jagers said he's willing to help Donald get ready… by texting the future Pro Football Hall of Famer right at the airport.
“Aaron Donald, come over,” he said. “I know you just retired. But you can have a long career in athletics.”
It's unclear if Donald has ever tried his hand at the sport… but we do know the 34-year-old is still in insane shape. Just take a look at the workout he posted last week – looks like he can still attack the passer in the NFC West!
