A Future Lenovo Legion Gaming Laptop Could Have an Ultrawide Screen on Demand

Lenovo could show off a new approach to its rollable OLED screen technology early next year: giving the laptop ultra-wide, according to the latest version of Windows (by using Edge). The laptop, which the store calls the Legion Pro Rollable, will be Lenovo's first with a horizontally rotating display.

As The Verge notes, there are very few details in the Windows Latest post, so we don't know anything about refresh rate, brightness, resolution, etc. It will just have a 21:9 aspect ratio, which is much wider than any other our favorite gaming laptops. The publication also claims to have confirmed that the laptop will be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor, but this is unlikely to be a surprise. The report also suggests that the screen will have a refresh rate of at least 120Hz, given that the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable already has that rate. Windows Latest has also published an official promotional image of the laptop.

We probably won't have to wait long to hear more, as Windows Latest reports that it will “likely” show up at CES in July. And yes, it is tracked. Lenovo loves to show off wacky laptops at CES – remember Yoga 9i and its stupid dual clamshell display design? Lenovo even announced a foldable ThinkBook model. last year during the conference. If this laptop is real – and that's a big if, since Windows Latest doesn't give any hint as to where it got this information from – it will likely become one of the company's main exhibits, and you can bet IGN will be there reporting on it.
