Dancing with the Stars Week 4: Who Went Home

After last week's rather awkward Tiktok tribute, Dancing with the Stars returned to familiar soil on Tuesday with its popular Disney night. After Mandy Moore-Choreography opened with “Be My Guest,” the duo opened their rehearsal bags with corny Disneyland racks to help celebrate the park's 70th year in Anaheim.

But if you really want to talk about the happiest place on earth right now, this should be Dwts ballroom The ABC show broke voting records once again last week, much to the despair of poor Lauren Jauregui, who unexpectedly got the boot. Most viewers thought it was Andy Richter's time, but instead fifth Harmony went home.

Time for Richter's turn tonight?

Comedian Andy Richter with partner Emma Slater. Richter was the cook for Slater's rat for their unremarkable Viennese waltz to the tune of RatatouilleField It was a far cry from a chef's kiss, but Richter is absolutely delightful when he owns his mediocrity. “Andy, you create such memorable moments,” Carrie Ann told Inaba. “However, we are in week 4…we will be looking for more content. I want you to challenge yourself more.” CHECK: 18 out of 30

Daniel Fischel (Boy meets world) with Pasha-Pashkov. Pentatonix Singer Scott Hoyin with Riley Arnold. Hoying feels like he's finally “broken out of his shell,” but his slightly average salsa didn't have the same wow factor as last week's jazz performance. To make matters worse, he had to do this to “rise to the top” High School Musicalwhich is about as Cuban as the white Bret characters who performed it in the 2006 TV movie. The judges cut it short, though. “This is what happens with the onset of confidence,” Inaba said. “You're bursting with this salsa.” CHECK: 21 out of 30

Andy Richter, Emma Slater (Disneyland Resort, Sean Teagarden)

Wildlife Conservation Robert Irwin with Witney Carson. Irwin has a funny habit of either mulling over words or chewing in the air when dancing, but it's a small note for his otherwise great cha-cha TAKE THAT WORD “Try everything” by Zutopia. “You just have this Irwin Aura,” Derek Hough said. “You can't help but smile watching you perform. Your top half is so strong.” CHECK: 22 out of 30

Author and influencer Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb SavchenkoField QuickStep to Baldwin's song to Cantina's song from Star wars was out of this world! Hough argued that her “QuickStep” needed more speed, but his colleagues disagreed. So do I. “Whatever you did, worked. I'm really, really, really paying attention to what you did tonight, really analyzing. I was looking for something wrong. I didn't see it.” CHECK: 23 out of 30

Jen Affleck (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) with Jan of Ravnica. Mormon Mom closed the show with an acrobat-filled jazz routine to a song from Aladdin It really brought the Disney theme to life. And Ravnica makes an awesome genie! Oddly enough, Inaba was not amazed. “You are living the Disney Dream now. Great performance,” she said. “But something about it didn’t put me up. Be me! I think you need to make it a little harder as we go forward.” CHECK: 23 Out 30

Reality TV star Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach. Blowing QuickStep from Efron Cars The song “Life Is Highway” kept him in the good graces of the judges, who clearly appreciate his good looks week after week. “Dylan McQueen, Quickstep King!” Hough said. “So impressed with that left hand that you kept that power the whole way.” CHECK: 23 out of 30

Social media personality Alix Earle with Val Chmerkovskiy. Bravo Chererkovski, who suggested fresh Cinderella Classic “One On The Dream”, having Earle dress as Maleficent for their dark and haunting Viennese Waltz. “Alix, it was fascinating,” Hough said. “It was magical, it was mesmerizing… I disagree with Carrie Anne last week. This was your best dance.” CHECK: 24 out of 30

Actor Elaine Hendricks with Alan Bersten. Poor Bersten cut his work this week, had to choreograph a killer QuickStep to the theme song from…. Space Mountain?! But Bersten and the stage managers (who ripped out several lasers within 24 hours) gave Hendrix the ride of her life. “It was a tough routine,” Hough said. “You didn't miss a beat.” CHECK: 24 out of 30

Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chile with Ezra Sosa. QuickStep in a gymnast to an energetic tune from The Princess and the Frog There were judges who raved about her natural ballroom abilities. “This type of dance is why people love Disney night. Mark Ballas, Whitney Leavitt (Disney/Christopher Willard)

Whitney Leavitt (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) with Mark BallasField Listen to who just became the leader! Foxtrot duet in “The Room Where It Happens” by Hamilton was an absolute stunner and deserved to close the show (sorry Affleck). “There's the traditional foxtrot, and then there's the Mark Foxtrot,” Inaba said. “As I watched, my lip trembled. It was so good. The precision, the technicality, of the painting was incredible. Crazy.” CHECK: 25 out of 30

Host Alfonso Ribeiro began the elimination by announcing how the show had just surpassed 40 million votes. Yowza!

The bottom three were Richter, Baldwin and Fishel. In another shock elimination, Baldwin was sent home. However, the influential person was gracious regarding her departure. There are no words for feeling angry about this!

“It was an incredible experience,” she said. “I am so grateful to all of you. And I am grateful to my children and my family! Thank you guys for this. I'm rooting for everyone in the cast because it was an amazing time.”
