Stunning pictures show a woman Mammoth, baby, Starting with more than 130,000 years, recently scattered by Russian scientists.
The mammoth, which was called Yana, was considered at the North-East Federal University in Yakutsk, Russia, March 27. The mammoth mammoth was preserved in the eternal permafrost, until it was dug up in the cold Russian province of Yakutia last year.
Photos of the autopsy show the team of scientists unloaded around the 397-pound animal, which is very reminiscent of the modern child of the elephant. The creature’s mouth was open, and its trunk was folded when scientists opened her skin.
Initially, scientists believed that Yana lived 50,000 years ago, but this assessment was updated to more than 130,000 years after scientists analyzed the level of permafrost, where it was found.
