So Bushra Is an animated film about a strange coyota who comes to her cardiologist a mother?
Orian: This is a film about relationships with mother and daughter. He uses the real conversations that she spent a measure with his mother, recorded by someone else. And this is about love, acceptance, daughter and diaspora.

How did the show go?
Meriem: New York is at home, so we have many friends and family here – everyone was very enthusiastic. Today we had a little biased audience, but it was amazing.

Have you coordinated your outfits?
Orian: I wear a jacket that belongs to Merimem – many of my outfits are things that belong to the measure.

Meriem: Well, it was hot today. I was going to put on a suit, and then I was like I probably need not to wear a full suit.

What the worst did you bomb on the stage when?

Two weeks ago at Texas Christian University. It was 45 minutes of silence. I'm afraid of Gen Z, but only respect for the crowd. I love them. I would die for those who were there.

How many times have you been at the festival?

I don’t know if I can count them, but I think that for the first time I came, I saw Antichrist. An ambulance was outside, because several people lost consciousness. It was wonderful. It was exciting. I was like Movies are crazy.

What was it like to completely make the film in French?

Oh, wonderful. For me, when I hear French, it looks like a movie language. It is just how this film always sounded in my head, although this is a language that I really do not know specifically. I always made a film in a subtitle, and my tongue was a soundtrack for him.

What is your cinema snack?

I have no teeth. For me, there is no more thing as a snack in the cinema. Previously, it was, of course, the best popcorn with butter. My favorite food – again, there are no teeth, I just tell you as the tip – a pesto with a radish.

How do you like New York?

I stay in the Bronx – in Manhattan it differs, which is a little more intense. I took the metro here, and they should turn off the air conditioner by train because I caught a cold. AC is really strong here; I don't know how you do it.
