The story dominated headlines across America Wednesday night: An anti-ICE activist refused to obey orders from law enforcement officers to get out of her car, which was blocking a road in an attempt to impede a federal operation, and instead blocked the gas pedal and hit the officer. He shot back, killing her.
The opposing views of what happened are stark: Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called the dead driver, now identified as Renee's 37-year-old mother Nicole Goode, a “domestic terrorist” and said ICE agents were completely justified in their actions. Meanwhile, leftists such as Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz have framed the tragedy as ICE is completely to blame for instigating the situation and then overreacting. Videos of the incident have flooded social media as both sides adapt their interpretations to suit their narrative. One of those recordings shows Goode's self-proclaimed wife filming the incident and cheering her husband on even as tragedy struck.

After this, she says to the nearest man: “This is my wife.”
When he asks if she knows anyone in her wife's family who she could call, she replies: “We're new here. I don't have people… I can't even breathe right now.”

Meanwhile, in another video, which can be seen at New York Postal Service websitewhat appears to be the same woman can be seen crying afterwards and lamenting that it was her fault. The woman was seen in numerous other videos before and after the deadly incident and was also seen closely following and filming federal agents, according to the release.
A bloodied woman who identified herself as wife Renee Nicole Goode hysterically blamed herself for killing her partner at the hands of ICE agents, harrowing footage shows.
The woman was filmed distraught and sobbing steps away from Goode's wrecked car in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning when a neighbor who heard the noise asked her what happened.
“I made her come here, it’s my fault,” the woman said through sobs. “They just shot my wife.”

In many anti-ICE protests across the country, demonstrators seem to treat the whole thing as some kind of game, a challenge, a badge of honor. However, ICE is not kidding, and sooner or later a tragedy like this was bound to happen. All of this could have been prevented if two women had not tried to stop a large team of heavily armed officers from doing their job.
This is what the left's endless violent rhetoric has brought us to.
