If there was ever a dead horse that didn't need to be whipped so badly, this might be it. Life is strange row. Undoubtedly loved by many, it fell victim to this whole franchising thing, only receiving an entry in 2024 via Life is Strange: Double Exposurea sequel to the game that may have been too confusing. And here we are in 2026, when PEGI could potentially spoil the announcement of a new part of the series, subtitled “Reunion”. Spoilers for the game ahead!
You can see this on the official website of the PEGI rating commission. just looking for Life is Strangeand Reunion appears right at the top. There's even a full description of the game, revealing that it features the return of none other than Chloe Price, who was absent from the most recent entry.
“Chloe Price was Max Caulfield's time partner… Losing her is Max's greatest regret,” the game's synopsis reads. “Chloe has now arrived at Caledonian University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max's help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days a deadly inferno will destroy the campus.”
Hello! This really looks like a game that will make the Life is Strange fandom feel incredibly normal. There are also a few more references to PEGI-oriented parts of the game, such as a scene where the player (presumably Chloe) gets spiked in a drink at a party, along with some apparent depictions of “strong, realistic violence” with numerous references to suicide. It sounds heavy, but that's normal for this series.
This is just a PEGI rating, and there's no word on when a proper reveal might happen, so you'll have to wait to see what it ends up looking like.
