CF Montreal settles for 1-1 draw with Nashville SC after late goal from Surridge – Winnipeg Free Press

Montreal-80th minute heading Sam Surge forced CF Montreal to agree to a draw 1: 1 against Nashville in their last home game of the season on Saturday.

Dante of Sil, who has currently scored seven goals in his last nine football games of the Highest League, opened an account for Montreal (6-17-10), while the equalizer of the Surje stopped Nashville (16-11-6) from a potential entering the landscape bracket.

From Kickoff, both teams opened another with an extensive and vertical game. This led to excellent chances for both sides, since Hani Mukhtar and Ivan Haime were played alone, but not one of them could lead the first goal to their team.

Montreal hit first immediately after a 10-minute mark. After the Alder Escobar drew a penalty of almost 25 meters, the strength rose and – similarly to his penalty head against FC Charlotte a week ago – released the perfect blow to the upper right corner.

After the target, Montreal fell into a low block, as Nashville controlled more than two thirds of possession to a half -hour mark, but could not break the organized protection.

Immediately after 30 minutes of the game, Montreal thought that they doubled their leadership through Prince Ovus, but the referee, the account of the account, considered a goal offsay.

Nashville’s control over the ball continued in the second half, when visitors examined Montreal around the low block without much penetration. There were several halves of quality, including a header from Surridge, who got into the post, but Nashville tried his best to maintain danger.
