Asus reveals a Hideo Kojima-themed ROG Flow Z13 at CES 2026

you drank Hideo Kojima's sake. Have you checked the time on your Hideo Kojima Watch. Have you even gone camping in yours? Hideo Kojima's exoskeleton. But are you ready to play on your Hideo Kojima laptop? Kojima Productions and Asus have teamed up to create a limited edition ROG Flow Z13 that looks the same as other models. Death.

Announced this week at CES 2026, this unlikely laptop is the perfect combination of brands. Both Kojima Productions and Asus are no strangers to product collaborations, with the latter having a history of showcasing unexpected crossovers on the CES stage. Even though Hatsune Miku and Evangelion have collaborated in the past, Kojima's team could be Asus' most ambitious stunt product yet.

The ROG Flow Z13-KJP isn't that far off from the regular Z13 below the surface. It features a 13.4-inch 180Hz 2.5K Nebula HDR touchscreen display and has a kickstand at the back. As for its boldness, it's powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics, has a fast-charging 70Wh battery, supports Wi-Fi 7, and comes pre-installed with Armory Crate (complete with a unique Kojima Productions theme).

The highlight lies in its design, which was created in collaboration with Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa, lead designer of Kojima Productions. In addition to the carbon fiber body and many signature details, the Flow Z13-KJP keyboard also has an unusual shape with raised corners. It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie or, you know, a Hideo Kojima game.

The big advantage of the design is that it comes with a white carrying case that looks exactly like a piece of weight. Death. (I don't recommend throwing it at your enemies' heads.)

Apart from the Flow Z13-KJP, Asus is also releasing a few more Kojima-themed products that can be purchased separately. There will also be special editions of the Delta II headset, Kersis II Origin mouse and Scabbard II XXL mouse pad, all of which will feature the studio's mascot Ludens.

The ROG Flow Z13-KJP has no release date yet, and its price won't be revealed until it hits store shelves. It is expected to be released in the mid-to-late first quarter.
