In the upcoming third season of HBO's TV adaptation of The Last of Us, a new actor will play WLF member Manny.
As first reported NexuspointnewsDanny Ramirez left the show due to scheduling conflicts. As such, the role is currently being recast, although who will take Manny's place has yet to be determined.

Aside from The Last of Us, Ramirez is also known to many as Joaquin Torres/Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is set to appear in Avengers: Judgment Day as well as the upcoming Jean-Michel Basquiat biopic Alive.
As for Manny, when it was first announced that Ramirez was joining The Last of UsThe showrunners described his character as “a loyal soldier whose sunny gaze hides the pain of old wounds and the fear that he will let his friends down when they need him most.”
Ramirez's Manny joins other newcomers Kaitlyn Dever as AbbyTati Gabrielle as Nora, Ariela Barer as Mel, Spencer Lord as Owen, Young Masino as Jesse, Catherine O'Hara as Gail And Isabela Merced as Dina for the second season of The Last of Us. Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey reprized their roles as Joel and Ellie.
Ramirez isn't the only key member of the team to leave the show in season three. Last year, Neil Druckmann has announced that he is leaving the series after the second season of The Last of Us.to focus on Naughty doggame output, which includes Intergalactica: Heretic Prophet.. Druckmann previously worked on The Last of Us adaptation as co-showrunner, director, writer and producer.
Although he returned to full-time video game development, Druckmann has since stated that he will continue to be involved with The Last of Us adaptation at a “very high level.” to make sure it was “as believable” as the show's first season.
