TMNT Magic: The Gathering Booster Box Preorders Steeply Discounted

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles booster pack comes in 30 packs containing 14 cards and a double-sided non-foil token. Here's a breakdown of the card types in each Play Booster:

• 7 common
• 2 unusual
• 1 rare or mythical rare
• 1 Legendary Turtle (any rarity)
• 1 Wildcard (any rarity)
• 1 traditional foil (any rarity)
• 1 land

You're guaranteed to get at least one rare card in each set, but you can get up to five depending on how you choose Legendary Turtle, Wild Card, Traditional Foil, etc.

Additionally, Wizards of the Coast states that on average, one out of every 28 game booster packs includes a non-foil card from the source material. There are a total of 20 source cards, each of which replaces a regular one when drawn.

Turtle Team-Up is a new co-op format for 2-4 players. Each of the players' four decks of 60 cards is led by Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael or Michelangelo. The 39-card enemy deck features villains such as Shredder and Rocksteady. The Turtle Team-Up kit includes individual storage boxes for players' decks, as well as damage counter sheets and a training booklet.

As mentioned, the Turtle Team-Up set also includes four Play booster packs of 14 cards each. Once you've learned the basics of the co-op format, you'll be able to customize your decks with cards pulled from Play booster packs. There are a total of 335 cards in this $50 box.

Commander decks usually contain a decent amount of exclusive cards that are not found in other products. Since there is only one Commander deck in the TMNT set, there are more exclusive cards than usual. The 100-card deck includes 43 cards new to Magic: The Gathering.

Like other recent crossover sets, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a $70 bundle that includes nine booster packs, an alternate art foil promo card, and various accessories.

We haven't seen cans of TMNT Tins on Amazon, and Best Buy hasn't opened pre-orders yet. If you order a can of TMNT from Best Buy, you will randomly receive one of five options.
