Using console commands in My winter carThe Early Access version is extremely difficult, but there is a backdoor with the mods available.
My summer carpredecessor, has a list of functioning console commands that allow you to access additional options. My winter car also has its own console commands for use by developers. However, there is no direct way to take advantage of them. Luckily, you can bypass the restrictions using mods.
How to enable console commands with mods in My Winter Car
The easiest way to enable console commands in the current build My winter car is to use Developer Toolkit Maud. This mod allows you to enable the developer console within the game and then enable various options that would otherwise not be available under normal circumstances.
- First you will need to install and enable BepInEx. This is a mod manager that allows you to use mods for different games, including My winter car (When you click on the highlighted link, the download will start automatically).
- Download the necessary files for BepInEx from here and then extract them to the main game folder.
- Launch the game to create all the necessary folders.
- Download Developer Toolkit Mod.
- Open the downloaded folder and inside you will find the BepInEx folder.
- Copy all the contents from the folder to the BepInEx folder which is present in your main My winter car Folder.
- Launch the game and the developer tools will be enabled automatically.
You will then be able to use the fully functional in-game console to execute commands. Successfully executed commands will be highlighted in green. You can use default commands and custom commands depending on your requirements.
In addition, the developer toolset also allows you to take advantage of features such as Runtime Inspector, Player Dev Controller, PlayMaker Global Variable Editor, and more. You can also set convenient hotkeys based on your needs.
