Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Fan Wins Ridiculous 8-Hour Boss Battle With 10,545 Successful Parries and No Dodges

Eight hours and over 10,000 parries later Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 The superfan is being praised for defeating one of the game's toughest bosses under frankly ridiculous conditions.

Weak but not afraid Reddit user Records posted a screenshot showing that they defeated the super-strong boss Dullist after 10,545 successful parries – which seems to be more than I completed in the entire game.

The meeting lasted eight hours, two minutes and 36 seconds, during which Recordbreaks reports that they “took one break for about 5-10 minutes” to go grab a bite to eat and then “came back to it.”

Added to Clair Obscur last month as part of long-awaited farewell game updateDullist is located in the new location Endless Tower. This area contains a number of bosses that are designed to provide some of the toughest challenges in the popular RPG, although they still shouldn't take the average endgame player nearly eight hours to complete.

“The only reason it took me so long is because I hadn't built the Verso properly to do a million damage yet,” Recordbreaks admitted, stating that his squad was still around level 80. “It was doing about 200,000 damage per hit, and that's if Roulette was working in my favor, which it wasn't most of the time.”

While some fans say that Recordbreaks could have simply quit the battle, disassembled his build and restarted, the vast majority of fans praise the player for still taking the time of an actual work shift to defeat the boss.

But the most surreal thing of all? Throughout the battle, the Record Makers avoided dodging to the point where not a single successful dodge was recorded, instead opting for the harder option of parrying attacks each time.

“22 parries per minute, almost one parry every three seconds,” one fan noted after doing the math.

“Bro, that’s a full day spent on this boss and damn, 10 thousand parries,” xXxZeroTwoxXx marveled. “Congratulations, buddy.”

“Why? Because I wanted to,” Recordbreaks responded when asked about the reason for their persistence. “How? With pure will and determination. What's wrong with me? I haven’t seen a therapist yet to look into this.”

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has already been completed and fans are already speculating what will happen next as the game's developer teased it Claire Obscurus was the “franchise name”. and the 33rd Expedition was just one story in its own universe.
