Changing game data in My winter car At the time of writing this is not the easiest task, but there is a loophole way to adjust in-game statistics.
This is all possible thanks to My summer car Editor or MSCE editor summing up. It doesn't work flawlessly in My winter car (since it was not specifically designed for this) but you can still use this tool to some extent and this guide will explain the whole process.
How to install MSCEditor for My Winter Car
Basic steps to install and use MSCEditor for My winter car the same as My summer car. However, it is not fully functional (something to keep in mind).
- Install the application from NexusMods.
- Extract the application file and run it.
- Click “Open” in the top left corner and select the default save file for My Winter Car. You can find the file in My winter car save folder (Users-Username-AppData-LocalLow-Amistech-MyWinterCar).
- The file you are looking for will be at the top of the folder. It will be called “save file”.
To change the values, you must open the save file through the MSCEditor application. If you open it externally, you won't be able to set any save file values correctly.
Will there be a new My Winter Car app?
My winter car built on the same engine as My summer car. Hence, there is a high chance that we will get an exclusive editor app. However, at the time of writing such an application is not available. If this changes, it will be easier for us to edit save files and the values they contain.
The timing is difficult to predict as it depends entirely on the community and how quickly someone can develop the mod.
