We are living in the last hours before the New Year. Here at IGN we're already looking forward to some long awaited video games (looking at you, GTA 6), big movie releasesAnd a lot of TV shows. In the meantime, it's time to take a break from the holiday season and start streaming.
Disney+ will kick off the new year with the return of one of the best movie marathons ever, the continuation of the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and the surprisingly fun movie Venom. Without further ado, here's everything coming to Disney+ in January.

- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
original Indiana Jones films were removed from Disney+ at the end of 2024 after Paramount's licenses expired, but will make their grand return in 2026. Disney+ will once again stream the first four Indiana Jones films, joining the latest installment. Dial of fate.

- Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Tim Burton's 2016 adaptation of Ransom Rigg's dark fantasy children's book, is finding a new streaming home on Disney+. Samantha Ladwig film review for IGN Unsurprisingly, he emphasizes “creative visuals.” The 2011 comedy The Big Year will also return to Disney+ after being removed back in 2022.

- Incredible Northern Veterans S2
The second season of the documentary series follows three Indigenous veterinarians who work in diverse climates and communities across Western Canada.

I AM BOXER, a Korean reality show hosted by Don Lee, will air new episodes every Monday.
January 7
- Made in Korea (new episode)
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians S2 (new episode)
Crime thriller Made in Korea will release new episodes every Wednesday on Disney+ and Hulu, as well as new episodes for the second season of Percy Jackson & the Olympians. season 2 premiere review and, if you're interested, recent Camp Half-Blood squad debuts in Fortnite.

- Capturing S5 theme music
National Geographic's The Tale of Siliana follows an injured white stork's journey to recovery alongside a struggling farmer, taking inspiration from North Macedonian folklore. Disney+ will also receive the latest batch of Theme Song Takeovers, Disney Channel short films in which characters “remake” theme songs from other Disney series.
January 10
- Artful Dodger S1
- Marvel's Spider and His Amazing Friends Part 4 (new episodes)
Hulu's The Artful Dodger will premiere on Disney+ ahead of its second season in February. I imagine we'll see more titles moving between these services in the form of the Hulu library. Fully integrated into the Disney+ app.

- Made in Korea (new episode)
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians S2 (new episode)
- From Pole to Pole with Will Smith
Hey AJ!, a new children's series based on the book of the same name, will premiere on Disney+ the day after it premieres live on Disney Jr. The streamer will also get a new version of National Geographic's travel show Pole to Pole, this time starring Will Smith.
January 16
Agent P, aka Perry the Platypus, is getting a series of eight new short films to complement the ongoing Phineas and Ferb reboot.
January 17
- America's Funniest Home Videos (new seasons)
- Phineas and Ferb S5 (New Episodes)
By the way, the first portion of the new episodes of Phineas and Ferb. appeared on Disney+ back in June. The second half of the reboot season will be released in mid-January, along with several more seasons of the classic pre-Tik Tok America's Funniest Home Videos.

- I AM A BOXER (New episode)
- Date with Winnie the Pooh: Shorts, part 3
The new season of Playdate featuring Winnie the Pooh shorts will premiere simultaneously on Disney+ and Disney Jr. This season will introduce a new character, Owl, who has a special passion for books.

- Percy Jackson and the Olympians S2 (new episode)

- Venom: Let There Be Carnage
The second Venom movie will appear on Disney+ after a deal with Starz. Francesca Rivera wrote in my review that “Andy Serkis directs a fun and action-packed sequel that puts Venom at the forefront as his own character”, noting that the film takes less seriously than its predecessor. Spider-Verse Sony may have reached its endbut personally, I'll always be grateful that we got to witness Tom Hardy have so much fun in his role.

- I AM A BOXER – (New Episode)
January 27
One of the few MCU additions this month has been announced: Wonder Man. back in 2022 and has gone through quite a long development cycle since then. This will finally happen in early 2026. The series follows Simon Williams, an aspiring actor who secretly has superpowers. Star of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II described the series as a “self-aware” superhero film, suggesting it would target superhero fatigue.
January 28
- Disney Jr. Ariel – The Little Mermaid S2
The second season of the animated series Ariel, inspired by the 1992 and 1992 series. live-action film 2023will be streaming after airing on Disney Jr.
January 30
- Construction Construction
Continuing to offer more short-form content, Disney+ will begin streaming Pupstruction Construction, additional shorts in which Finny explains the real machines behind construction projects.

While we don't have an exact streaming release date, we do know that Lecey Iwerk, director of The Imagineering Story, will premiere a new documentary at D23 on January 8th, which will likely appear on Disney+ soon. Disneyland Handcrafted highlights the year of Disneyland's creation by featuring never-before-seen archival footage.
