Recent fuel for the wedding drama fire: The newlyweds' first dance didn't go as expectedand it is extremely unclear why it turned out exactly the way it supposedly happened.
“Brooklyn and Nicola had the impression that their first dance gave them Mark Anthony” a source told E! News in May 2025. Instead, the singer announced: “Please welcome to the stage the most beautiful woman in the room – Victoria Beckham.” Brooklyn didn't quite know what to do and found himself in an awkward situation.”
What's more, the source continued: “Nicola left the room in tears. She eventually returned and was able to muster the strength to celebrate the rest of her wedding.”
The incident was not so catastrophic for the groom's family as to disturb David from be best man at Mark's wedding in January 2023, when he married his fourth wife Nadia Ferreira. But it is understandable if it was more difficult for the bride to survive.
According to the source, Brooklyn and Nicola have made “a good faith effort over the years” to maintain a relationship with his family, but things aren't going well at the moment.
Probably for no reason, perhaps not, Brooklyn jokingly called Nicola his “whole world.” Instagram post, May 2025writing, “I always choose you baby, you are the most amazing person I know, we are with you forever baby.”
