4:01 pm Pacific Time — The White House denies a Wall Street Journal report that President TrumpMar-a-Lago spa in Florida used to send teenage workers to pedophiles Jeffrey EpsteinMansion in Palm Beach.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt says TMZ… “It's disgraceful that the Wall Street Journal is wasting its once-great newspaper writing falsehoods and innuendo to smear President Trump and distract attention from his historic first year in office.”
Leavitt adds… “No matter how many times this story is told and retold, the truth remains: President Trump did nothing wrong and kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago for being a scumbag.”
She continues… “Now President Trump's own Department of Justice is releasing hundreds of thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein and his crimes.”
Donald Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein may be even worse than previously thought… according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal.
WSJ says the DT Mar-a-Lago spa in Florida sent teenage employees to Epstein's mansion, even though it was an open secret among employees that the billionaire sometimes exposed himself during meetings.
The practice ended in 2003 when an unnamed 18-year-old employee complained that Epstein was “pressuring her for sex,” according to the newspaper.
News of this reportedly reached Trump, who ordered the manager to kick Epstein out of the club.
In July Trump told a slightly different story, claiming his relationship with Epstein soured after the disgraced financier “stolen” young women who worked at his Mar-a-Lago spa.
Trump told reporters on Air Force One: “The people he hired were taken out of the spa. In other words, they left.”
He added… “People would come in and complain, 'This guy is taking people away from the spa.' I didn't know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, “Listen, we don't want you to take our people, spa or no spa.” I don't want him to take people. And he was fine. And then, shortly after that, he did it again, and I said, “Get out of here.”
The Ministry of Justice is still considering more than a million new Epstein documents he sent to the FBI, on top of thousands already released by the feds.
Last week, the Justice Department announced: “We have lawyers working around the clock to review and make legal changes to protect victims, and we will release the documents as soon as possible. Due to the large volume of materials, this process may take several more weeks. The Department will continue to fully comply with federal law and President Trump's direction to release the files.”
