TCL announced the release of the TCL Note A1 Nxtpaper, which the company says is a smart digital note designed to transform digital reading, writing and creativity.
Based on Nxtpaper technology which was introduced in 2021E-Note features an 11.5-inch 120Hz screen with flicker-free images, TÜV-certified eye comfort and a glare-free surface. The display also supports 16.7 million colors and 300 nits adaptive brightness, which the company claims allows users to experience true-to-life depth and reduce eye strain in various lighting conditions.
The Note A1 packs an 8,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Under the hood, so to speak, there is 256 GB of internal memory, 8 GB of RAM and an MTK G100 processor. Transfer between devices and cloud sharing via Dropbox, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office are also available.
In terms of AI features, the Note A1 supports handwriting-to-text conversion, real-time transcription, translation, and automatic meeting summarization. There are also handwriting-focused tools, such as handwriting beautification, writing aid, handwriting in one stroke, and handwriting recognition.
If you need to conduct meetings using the Note A1, the device also features an eight-microphone array with intelligent noise cancellation and directional audio capture.
The Note A1 also features TCL's T-Pen Pro stylus, which offers 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, dual tip functionality, and sub-5 millisecond latency. TCL also claims the device supports “pencil-like writing,” which TCL says can mimic the resistance and texture of real paper.
TCL Note A1 Nxtpaper will be available at the end of February. for $549. Early Access is currently available on Kickstarterwith discounts for early users.
