Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after they say human remains were found in a community east of North BayOnt.
OPP said they were called Sunday morning to the Head, Clara and Maria area of ​​the town after remains were discovered.

They say the remains were later identified as those of 26-year-old Hakeem Mujikira of Ottawa.
Police say preliminary information suggests there is no wider threat to the public.
They say police presence in the area will be increased as the investigation continues.
