Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she was always uncomfortable with what she saw as the “sexualization of women at Mar-a-Lago, MAGA” and vowed to speak out more on the topic, according to a New York Times interview published Monday.
Greene told The New York Times that she plans to talk about how women at Mar-a-Lago present themselves. article based on two interviews in early December. “I've never liked the sexualization of MAGA Mar-a-Lago. I think the way women leaders present themselves sends a message to young women,” Greene told the NYT. “I have two daughters, and I have always been uncomfortable with the way these women pout their lips and enlarge their breasts. I have never spoken about it publicly, but I planned to do so.”

Green also in an interview lamented comment made Trump at a memorial for the late Charlie Kirk on September 21. The President said: “[Kirk] didn't hate his opponents. He wished them well. This is where I disagree with Charlie. I hate my opponent and do not wish him well.”

Greene also railed against House Speaker Mike Johnson in the interview, saying, “Johnson is not our speaker… He is not our leader.”
The Georgia Republican's revealing interviews came after her premature resignation from the House of Representatives, causing her quoted the abandonment of “America First” priorities and disillusionment with the “political industrial complex” of modern American politics, among other issues.
“If I am discarded by the President and the MAGA political machine and replaced by big pharma neoconservatives, big tech military-industrial complex, foreign leaders and an elite donor class who can never deal with real Americans, then many ordinary Americans will also be discarded and replaced,” Greene said in a video announcing her resignation in November. “America first must mean America first, and Americans first, and no other foreign country will ever be tied to America first in our halls of government.”
A special election is being held to fill Greene's soon-to-be vacant seat. expected will take place in March 2026.
